Aro Dana, known publicly as AroKurd, is a Kurdish founder whose work spans youth in tech, women in tech, cultural and linguistic preservation through AI, and AI diplomacy. He studies AI at Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) in Abu Dhabi and is the founder of AK Group, Kurdim, Kurd-Aid, and Desmo Krd. In 2022, he contributed to adding Sorani Kurdish to Google Translate and was received by Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani for the contribution. Read more
